Grants.gov Workspace

December 14th, 2017 · Comments Off on Grants.gov Workspace

On December 31, 2017, Grants.gov will retire its legacy PDF application package and switch to the online application environment, Workspace. For federal grant applicants, this means that the application package will no longer be available as a downloadable PDF from the Grants.gov website.

In lieu of completing the legacy PDF application package, applicants can prepare their application in Grants.gov Workspace. Alternatively, applicants can still utilize InfoEd’s system-system Grants.gov functionality to prepare their Grants.gov application*. (InfoEd is the University’s grants management software system.)

To assist applicants with learning the ins and outs of Workspace, Grants.gov has put together several resources:

*InfoEd provides users the ability to complete federal grant applications for submission to Grants.gov directly within the software (referred to as “system-system” functionality). Training on how to utilize InfoEd’s system-system Grants.gov functionality is available by attending the InfoEd Advanced Proposal Development class.
