College and VP Office Rollout for InfoEd Proposal Development Module

The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) is excited to announce the tentative rollout schedule for the InfoEd Proposal Development (PD) module, a fully electronic pre-award solution for developing grant proposals. Faculty and staff who prepare grant proposals will be the main users of PD. Key features of PD include a collaborative proposal development workspace, budgeting tools, the ability to auto-populate proposal applications, built-in error checking, electronic proposal approval routing through chair/director and dean/VP levels, proposal tracking capabilities and system to system submission for Grants.gov.

The Rollout and What to Expect: The most important part of the rollout is training—all potential users will need to be properly trained on how to operate PD. Further, PD configurations such as the electronic routing will need to tested to ensure they are correct. Colleges and VP offices will be contacted in advance of their rollout with detailed information and to coordinate training and testing.

Additional Information and Announcements: Further information and announcements will be disseminated to campus via Network Meetings and the OSP website: www.unr.edu/sponsored-projects.

Questions: Please contact Erika Waday, (775) 784-4049 or ewaday@unr.edu.
